Typing speed certificate
A 60-word verified test, scored on our server from your own keystrokes. You get a permanent certificate with a public verification link an employer can check.
Certificates are not enabled
This deployment has no signing key configured, so certificates cannot be issued or verified. Set CERTIFICATE_SECRET to switch them on.

- How is a typing certificate verified?
- Each certificate has a unique code and a public verification page. Anyone given the code can look it up and see the recorded score, test length and issue date. Certificates are never edited after issue.
- Can the result be faked?
- The passage is issued by our server with a signed token, so a result can only be submitted for the exact text that was served. The score is then recalculated from your keystroke timings rather than taken from your browser, and runs with non-human timing are rejected. No browser-based test can stop a determined scripter, but casual tampering does not work.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Take the test, enter the name that should appear, and the certificate is issued immediately with a permanent link.
- Can I retake the test?
- Yes, as often as you like. Each attempt uses a new passage, so you are never retyping text you have already seen.
